I'm sure that many of you watched the recent debate. I personally thought that both candidates did a excellent job. Personally, I felt that Obama brought more to the table, so to speak. However I have no favorite, or desire to vote.

I would like to encourage each of you to be praying for our country, and the next president of our country. With the recent financial crisis, the Iraq war, and other situations around the world. The next president will have a huge responsibility to lead this country out of it's current 8 year spiral.

The Women And Children Of Iraq

In recent news reports they say that over 100,000 woman in Iraq have become widows loosing husbands either in the war or through terrorism. That means that potentially there are over 100,000 children who have lost fathers in Iraq alone. Some say the numbers are much greater. I would imagine when one considers Afganistan, and other nations involved in these conficts, the numbers multiply greatly. Then of course there is the nation of Africa where disease, starvation and many other situations claim the lives of father's, mothers, family members and children. Please pray God's comfort over those who have lost moms, dads, sons, daughters and for the woman and children of Iraq. Thank you.
