Love is the greatest of all gifts. Love is kind, compassionate, understanding, merciful and overcomes all things. Love is an extention of the heart of God flowing through a vessel from God into humanity and the lives of others.

Love is full of patience, integrity, honor, blessings and is sweet to the soul and hearing ears. It touches hearts, encourages, uplifts and covers a multitude of sins. Victory is found in love, blessings are found in love, and the fruit of love, the very fruit of the spirit is found in love.

Sing a new song, a song of love, a song that encourages others through the words that you speak and sow towards others. Let your love rise up, the love of God flowing richly through you. For love is the greatest of all gifts.

The Elderly

With summer soon upon us comes the heat waves. Over the last few years we have seen some record temperatures and this summer we will again see some extremely hot months. With such there are those that suffer due to lack of finances, and the elderly are within that group of people that struggle in the summer heat. Consider them this summer. Those that live within your communities. Be that vessel of love, and compassion making a difference in the lives of others, the less fortunate, those on fixed incomes, the elderly among us.

The Women And Children Of Iraq

In recent news reports they say that over 100,000 woman in Iraq have become widows loosing husbands either in the war or through terrorism. That means that potentially there are over 100,000 children who have lost fathers in Iraq alone. Some say the numbers are much greater. I would imagine when one considers Afganistan, and other nations involved in these conficts, the numbers multiply greatly. Then of course there is the nation of Africa where disease, starvation and many other situations claim the lives of father's, mothers, family members and children. Please pray God's comfort over those who have lost moms, dads, sons, daughters and for the woman and children of Iraq. Thank you.
